This past weekend, we held our 1st Annual St. Mary’s Open, the weekend was filled with good times, great golf and spirited competition! This tournament was a revival of the Wood Vallance that was held annually at Kimberley Golf Club for a number of years and we plan on keeping this tradition alive, and grow the tournament, for years to come!

The St. Mary’s Open was also a Golf BC qualifier event with spots available for the BC Men’s Amateur (being held at Bootleg Gap in July), as well as the BC Senior Men’s Amateur and the BC Junior Amateur.

Domtar was the main sponsor for this event, contributing thousands of dollars to cover the entry fees and other expenses for the competitors that made it through to the next stage of the BC Amateur Events, we can’t thank them enough for their support!
